Warning notice relating to individuals holding themselves out as being connected with PwC

It has come to our attention that, recently, certain individuals have been holding themselves out as being connected with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and/or PwC Japan. The individuals have been purporting to be a U.S. CPA holding positions such as the Head of the Osaka Office of PricewaterhouseCoopers International, and have used business cards which imitate the name and logo of PwC. However, none of PricewaterhouseCoopers Aarata, PricewaterhouseCoopers Co., Ltd., Zeirishi-Hojin PricewaterhouseCoopers, PwC or PwC Japan has any connection whatsoever with these individuals.

There are also certain individuals who have been using the name of PricewaterhouseCoopers Aarata to solicit customers, advise or carry out other acts by telephone, fax or otherwise, in relation to the purchase of securities. However, none of PricewaterhouseCoopers Aarata, PricewaterhouseCoopers Co., Ltd., Zeirishi-Hojin PricewaterhouseCoopers, PwC or PwC Japan solicits any customers in relation to the purchase of securities and none of them has any connection whatsoever with the above individuals.
